Season 22-23
The 2022-2023 season of the Université de Montréal Faculty of Music is an invitation to discover the talent from our institution, paying tribute both to the professional experience of our faculty members and to the youthful talents whose careers it is our mandate to develop and propel.
Among the highpoints not to be missed, the OUM will be playing Mahler’s Fourth Symphony and Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, the Big Band will be hosting internationally renowned guests like double bassist Ron Carter and trombonist Elliot Mason, the opera workshop will present Die Fledermaus by Johan Strauss II, and we’ll take the plunge into fascinating creative worlds at 5 Ultrasounds evenings.
From digital music to opera by way of jazz, world music, baroque, classical and contemporary, this new season brings you a vibrant calendar, with numerous must-see events for every taste.
