Opera Creation Program 2027
Are you interested in writing opera librettos? Would you like to demystify the opera creation process? Beginning in Winter 2027, composer Ana Sokolović and musicologist Zoey Cochran, based at the Université de Montréal, are launching a unique international program in opera creation focused on libretto writing, dramaturgy, and the interdisciplinary nature of opera. Upon completion of the program, participants will have developed practical tools for writing and co-creating operatic works.
The program includes three 3-credit courses
