Guitar and harp
Guitar
Graduates of the classical guitar performance programs at the Université de Montréal Faculty of Music have been attracting attention, for over 35 years, to a tradition of excellence by pursuing careers as performers and teachers both here and abroad.
As part of their training, guitar students have the opportunity to join different chamber-music ensembles of varying configurations.
Harp
The Faculty of Music offers harp performance programs that feature the teaching of Caroline Lizotte, a much sought-after soloist and chamber and orchestra musician, and an acclaimed composer whose works for harp are played and recorded around the world.
It should be noted that at the Faculty of Music, harp students may be part of different chamber-music ensembles and perform at auditions allowing for access to:
- Orchestre de l’Université de Montréal
- Ensemble de musique contemporaine
- Chamber-music ensembles of varying configurations
